Summer Spotlight: Shelby Starratt

"Alpha Chi is my home away from home and these girls are my best friends and family."

Alpha Chis are always looking for ways to "seek the heights" year round, and many times their incredible feats go unnoticed. This summer, we want to highlight some of the incredible accomplishments of our sisters on the blog-

Meet our sister, Shelby Starratt. This shining star is the co-director of Camp Kesem at UGA, an organization that puts on a free summer camp for the children of cancer patients.

Taking on Tumblr

Why go AXO? There's millions of reasons, but as they say, a picture is worth 1000 words!

Alpha Chi Omega's official Tumblr account was unveiled this week and we are so excited! We welcome everyone to take a peek inside our sisterhood through these photos of our Beta Sigma beauties!

Alpha Chi Highlights

School is almost out for summer, but how could we leave without reflecting on the awesome year Beta Sigma had!

Here are some of the highlights:

-Recruited 70+ fabulous new members and celebrated with a "Crazy in Love with AXO" themed bid day

-Made sweet memories with our sisters at date nights! Some of our favorites were Great Gatsby, Tacky Christmas, AXOlympics, and Formal at the Braves Stadium!

So Long Seniors

Our seniors are enjoying their final days before graduation and celebrated "senior week" with days full of activities, laughs, and sweet memories! MC 10 enjoyed a fabulous week with pictures on North Campus, a dinner at Shokitini, painted canvases of Sanford Stadium, and even relived freshman year by eating at the dining hall!

To end the week, Beta Sigma sent off our seniors with one last date night on Friday, Silver and Gold semi formal. It's hard to believe that this year is coming to an end, but we enjoyed a night full of good company, a great band, and lots of fun and dancing before finals week!

Go dawgs, Go dads

A Saturday in Athens spent with our dads is the best kind! Our sisters had a great lunch served by The Varsity food truck and enjoyed the perfect spring weather while playing corn hole on our front lawn. Not only were we able to watch the G-Day spring football game, but the main event was a good old-fashioned UGA baseball game versus Tennessee. We had such a great time with our dads, it was certainly a day to remember! A big thank you to our VP Membership Programming, Abby Cooley, for planning such a sweet daddy daughter day!
